Achieve a Challenge Certificate

An adventure activity is one that contains a significant element of risk to those taking
part. Girl Guides Australia requires the person in charge of an adventure activity to have
specific knowledge, skills relevant to the activity and risk management relevant to the
activity or to ensure that the instructors have such knowledge and skills. These challenges
may be completed as part of a Guide activity or externally.
